The beginning
1982
In the heart of Mesogeia, Attica region, famous for its vineyards, is located the town of Paiania. Sotiris Nikologiannis, a passionate young agronomist, M.Sc. taught and trained by the then Higher Agricultural School of Athens (today’s Agricultural University of Athens-AUA), establishes the farming supply store and consultancy. His aspirations are to support the agricultural production of the wider region. He is well aware of the issues that arise as he comes from a purely agricultural family. At the same time, he is involved in garden design and construction in his hometown as well as Athens’s northern suburbs and in the wider area of Attica.
The dynamic presence of a female leader

The practice is boosted by the presence of Katerina Nezi, agronomist M.Sc., also an A.G.S.A. graduate (today’s AUA). Always up-to-date in scientific advances, gives scientifically documented solutions to issues of different dynamics and scale such as nutrition and plant protection in crops, gardening, terrace design, home plants, and kitchen gardens. The person who will always welcome you in our store.
Our new buildings
2002
The range of products is enriched and the need for a larger space is now apparent. The practice is located at the same address, but it is now housed in modern facilities, accessible to everyone and equipped with all the necessary means for excellent preservation of goods and products as well as a contemporary customer service system. It is now, a modern garden centre, with qualified agronomists, horticulturists and landscape architects at the disposal of professional designers and contractors, farmers, the amateur gardener, the hobbyist.

The second generation of agronomists have joined the team, bringing with them a new way of thinking and a fresh look. Eleni Nikologianni (agronomist AUA M.Sc. – florist) will guide you through your wedding/christening or event planning and decorations as well as any horticultural burden you have in your projects. Dr Anastasia Nikologianni (agronomist AUA M.Sc. – landscape architect BCU, PhD) specializes in climate crisis regional design and landscape architecture and undertakes designs related to parks, gardens, city scale sustainable projects and more.
